Southern Hills Country Club will host its record-extending sixth PGA Championship in 2032, the PGA of America announced Tuesday.

The course in Tulsa, Okla., most recently hosted the major in 2022, when Justin Thomas won in a playoff against Will Zalatoris. Tiger Woods won the PGA Championship at that course in 2007.

All five of the course’s PGA Championships have come since 1970. It also was the site of the U.S. Open in 1958, 1977 and 2001.

“We could not be more excited to return to Southern Hills Country Club for the 114th PGA Championship in May 2032,” PGA of America president Don Rea Jr. said. “Southern Hills and its incredible members as well as the entire Tulsa community have always welcomed the PGA of America, our PGA Members and our Major Championships with authentic, neighborly hospitality. We look forward to bringing the PGA Championship back to not only a first class community, but a world renowned golf course that will challenge the world’s best golfers as they compete for the iconic Wanamaker Trophy.”

The golf world is gearing up for the 2025 PGA Championship this week at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C.
